About Us

Seafarer at Cliffside is a compliment to our sister hotel Seafarer Suites on Pioneer. Cliffside was formerly Kenai Peninsula Suites and was added to our property offerings to give customers the feel of staying on the outskirts of town in a more secluded bluff front 5 acre retreat. It is managed by a local family that hoped to share what it saw in the Sparkle of Homer just 15 years prior. Now coupling stays with fishing packages, and upscaling the accommodations in 2025, we hope you'll visit us again to see the new changes. Customers have come to appreciate this location with years of good reviews and now, our family brings to you our bougie interpretation of Alaskan Cabin-feel individually themed Suites that travelers have come to seek out. Each Suite at each property feels a little different and that adventure of staying in each Suite is akin to a Seafarer landing at different Ports.

Our Accomodations

Cabin Suites

Each cabin is nestled into its own space across our 5 acre bluff front. Each has a private deck with BBQ and a relaxing outdoor environment. Our common areas include use of our hot tub, horseshoe and fire pits all with views of the ocean. Our property can be rented out entirely for private weddings, large family reunions and corporate getaways. Each cabin Suite has a quaintly appointed kitchenette with space to eat on top of the line linens. Each cabin gives a one of a kind experience in the quiet serenity of a beachfront location. Private rooms offer peaceful and tranquil rest in the backdrop of a true Alaskan style modern cabin.

Our Location

Homer, Alaska

Perched near the famous Baycrest Overlook Point on Sterling Hwy, our Suites are situated atop the 500 foot high bluffs overlooking Kachemak Bay boasting Alaska’s most breathtaking views. With a panorama seascape, boats passing by and picturesque volcanoes (Douglas and Augustine) line our front skyline. Located at the entrance to Homer, our property is easy to navigate to and travel 3 miles to and from town as needed. While enjoying our unspoiled 5 acre cliffside, it’s common to observe eagles, ground animals and native flora, whale watching and the occasional moose visitor from the comfort of your own cabin suite. Each of these cabins were crafted with unique features to give you the Alaskan experience just out of town and yet still close enough to the activity Homer offers.
